Fatigue is not a condition, but a symptom of disequilibrium in the body. There are two primary types of fatigue we see at Palmercare:
Fatigue caused by deficiency often originates from a low-performing nervous system, poor nutrition, sleep deprivation, or burnout. We treat this type of fatigue with a combination of chiropractic care and lifestyle changes.
When fatigue is caused by overstimulation, you feel exhausted, yet you are unable to fall asleep. This is usually a sign of chronic, low-level stress.
Chronic low-level stress moves you into what is called a sympathetic state. Being in this state means your body is firing cortisol and your adrenal glands are exhausted; it might feel like you are full of adrenaline, but you are still tired. The chiropractic approach to this type of fatigue involves treating your nervous system and hormones while also asking you to make lifestyle changes to reduce stress.
If you don’t see a time that works for you. Please call the office to see if they can get you in sooner.
